LAMBSHIFT at MaximiliansForum confronts concepts of „Nothing“ from east and west. All works are refering to the animated short film Nichts (Nothing) from 2019. The film is characterised by scientific and philosophical theses about the „nothing“, which are combined in fragmentary scenes to form a reportage-like narrative, allowing different sources to speak on behalf of  the subject of „nothing“.

The Bunny - whose character is borrowed from the Oscar-winning animated film „Zootopia“ (2016) - also reappears in the two video loops Deleated Scenes on the east side of the exhibition space. She is caligraphically writing the Japanese symbol „Mu“, which stands for the „emptiness in the mind“, and which she erases again with a rake.
